STRUCTURED VESSEL RECORDS
Vessel intelligence for people and AI agents
Search vessel identity, particulars, voyage records, PSC inspection snapshots and structured maritime data by vessel name or IMO.
WHAT YOU CAN FIND
A focused record for vessel research.
Each page presents only the fields and dated snapshots retained for that vessel.

Vessel name, valid seven-digit IMO, type, flag and MMSI where retained.
Particulars
Year built, tonnage, deadweight and dimensions where present in the record.
Dated voyage and position fields
Destination, last port, timing and position-related fields shown with their record context.

DATA COVERAGE
Record characteristics at a glance.
VesselMCP publishes a small local dataset with section-level context instead of presenting historical values as live vessel state.
- Local
- Public pages read only Vessel MCP retained snapshots stored with this site.
- Dated
- The core record and optional snapshot blocks show their applicable record dates.
- Scoped
- Coverage and limitations describe what each retained block can and cannot establish.
- Explicit
- Missing optional fields and sections are omitted rather than filled or inferred.
HOW VESSEL MCP RECORDS WORK
Search, identify, then read the date.
The IMO is the stable lookup key; record dates and scope notes provide the context needed to interpret each value.
Search by name or IMO
Use an exact vessel name, a name fragment or a valid seven-digit IMO.
Confirm the vessel identity
Check the vessel name and IMO before comparing particulars or historical records.
Read dates and provenance
Keep the applicable record date, factual coverage and limitations with the value.
BUILT FOR MARITIME RESEARCH AND AI AGENTS
Records designed to be read and referenced.
The same semantic HTML supports quick human review and structured extraction by research tools and AI agents.
- Canonical IMO-based record URLs
- Clear headings and field labels
- Bilingual English and Chinese pages
PUBLIC ACCESS
Public records, search and documentation.
Search and read locally retained vessel records. Methodology explains their dates, coverage and limitations; API and MCP documentation explains programmatic calls.

API & MCP ACCESS
Apply for a caller key.
Choose API or MCP and verify your email. Your key for the selected service will arrive by email and is valid for 90 days UTC. Both services query identity and recent port calls separately by IMO only, with no vessel-name search. Their fields and dates are not equivalent to the main site’s retained snapshots. MCP is for non-browser clients.
METHODOLOGY
Use dated records with their stated limits.
Review the record model, time semantics, missing-value handling, AIS limitations and provenance policy before using time-sensitive fields.
